The Sustainable Raritan River Business Round Table
The Sustainable Raritan River Business Round Table highlights the sustainable practices of businesses within the Raritan River Watershed and promotes the exchange of ideas among members of the business community to help incorporate sustainability and green practices into corporate management. The benefits from sustainability protect our regional natural assets and extend beyond that to a company's public image, its reputation as a good neighbor and the key business driver, reduced costs for the bottom line. How that becomes part of standard practice is of particular interest as we foresee our regional reputation tied to our commitment to sustainability. Background
We welcome the opportunity to highlight initiatives that support sustainability and promote the natural assets of our region, such as the River Friendly Program and the NJDEP Stewardship Program. Both are voluntary programs, so they invite participation and we encourage you to get involved and to share it with others.
